Proclamation of the Gospel (Lk 11.1 to 13)
Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples asked him, "Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples."Jesus answered, "When you pray, say: Father, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Give us each day the daily bread, and forgive us our sins, for we also forgive all our debtors; and do not lead us into temptation. ' "
And he added: "If one of you has a friend and go to him at midnight and you say, 'Friend, lend me three loaves, because a friend of mine arrived trip and I have nothing to offer you,' and if the other answer from inside, 'Do not bother me!

A. BIGCUORE´S REFLECTION. The core of this Gospel is the Lord's Prayer that the disciples ask Jesus to teach them to pray.Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Master teaches them that, first, we must address our Heavenly Father to sanctify his name.
KINGDOM. God sends His Son Jesus to establish his Kingdom of love for all humans!EACH DAY OUR DAILY BREAD. Asks the Father, our bread each day representing all material goods, especially food, we need to survive. Bread should always be shared and never accumulated.
PARDON. He asks forgiveness of all our sins. Says Christian Catholic tradition that the righteous, sins seven times a day. Every day, we sin by word, acts, omissions, not counting our sins by impure thoughts, corruption, evil, gossip, lies, envy, jealousy, vanity, pride etc.
PERSISTENCE IN PRAYER. He exhorts us that we must persevere in prayer. Never give up. Who beats opens; who seeks finds; who plant crops.
This is the crux of the Gospel text. FORGIVE IS TO LOVE. WHO LOVES FORGIVES. WHO FORGIVE LOVES.
No forgiveness, no one will enter Paradise. Jesus himself says that in another passage of the Gospel. If you do not forgive your brother, nor my Father who is in heaven, forgive you.A holy and happy Sunday to all. Grace and peace to all hearts of men and women of good will. Amen!.
