A. BIGCUORE´S REFLECTION: "Who is this that even the wind and the sea obey?"We imagine the following scenario: starting the night and should be very dark in the Sea of Galilee. The vessel should be very rough. The disciples were very afraid, which, in a way, it was natural.By way of illustration, reference is point out that the sea, the Jews, was a place of evil spirits; It was home of Leviathan, the Demon Monster.
Jesus was sleeping. Humanly speaking it was natural the disciples feel fear. As a result, they call the Master to see if he did anything. As if playing the role of exorcist, Jesus sends the storm stop and calm and the sea obey Him.

LOVE is the antidote to fear !. It may just be the anchor of the disciples to face the tribulations of the world. Today we have also the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit (Wisdom, Intelligence, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety and Fear of God. Over the 12 fruits of the Holy Spirit (peace, joy, kindness, humility, chastity, etc.).In short, only LOVE is able to calm the heart, give us strength to go face.
