"Do not be overwhelmed by sorrow, nor distress yourself with worry. Joyful heart is life to man, and the satisfaction it prolongs life. Cheer up, console the heart and move away from the gloom. For the gloom has ruined many people, and serves no purpose. Envy and wrath shorten the years, and concern is growing old before their time. Favors merry heart does good appetite and taste the food. "(Sir, 30, 21-25).
A.BigCuore`s Reflection: How many words of wisdom Lord God! Beautiful thought of the Book of Sirach!. The real joy is that which comes from the harmony of man's heart with God's heart!
Physiologically speaking, the joy increases the amount of "endorphins" in the body, neutralizing thus the action of so-called cortisóis (adrenaline and others) that cause you stress. Positive emotions enhance even our immune system. So we, when so proceeds, less vulnerable to the emergence of diseases.
It also improves the so-called positive hormones, increases the level of serotonin in the brain, the main neurotransmitter that prevents depression.
On the other hand, negative emotions (like, sad, upset, hurt, bitterness, hatred, envy, jealousy exaggerated etc.), weaken our immune system, therefore, give rise to various types of psychosomatic diseases.
Remedy: search for spirituality and religiosity, as antidotes to this poison around that, especially in modern life offers us. It is imperative willpower, determination, in LIFE WILL CHANGE! Changing our thought patterns from negative to positive.
It is a matter of habit, exercise. First you need to WANT to change this situation in our life!. Then set some goals to be achieved, as a kind of life program.
It is the thesis that I defend which is called homeostatic balance of personality. Harmonize factors, spiritual, physical and emotional, this balance will result in happiness, in short. (See in the Corner lyrics, my texts: homeostatic balance of Personality and Personality Homeostatic).
Blessings of health, peace, prosperity, harmony and joy in their hearts!
