                                                  GOSPEL OF JOHN 14, 23-29 
"If anyone loves me, I will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come and we will make it our home."

A.BIGCUORE´S REFLECTION: Amazing! the Gospel of John; is the most theological of all. The evangelist, in Chapter 14, simply mentions 14 times the word Father. I had the patience to count them.

In chapters 14 and 15, are very clear the Trinity of God. Jesus speaks fondly of the Father and tells the disciples that will send you the Advocate, Paraclete, the HOLY SPIRIT, which will reveal to them all that the Master taught unto them.

Jesus proposes to his disciples and to us Christians today, (2,016), the same Covenant of Love that He did to them. "I am the vine, you are the branches. Who is attached to Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. " (See chap. 15: 5). ( 1 )

Jesus was preparing the minds of the disciples, he was coming his time and pass this to the size of their Father.He gives them the last advice to his disciples to preach and live the true love ;; the love that He, Jesus had taught them. "" There is no greater Love than to give his life for his friends. " You are my friends if you do what I tell you. "(Ch. 15: 13-14)

For us Christians of the 21st century, it is the same rule, which is, by the Word of God, exarada in the Holy Scriptures and through the sacraments, especially the Reconciliation and Eucharist, we remain united to Jesus, spiritually, through our heart, mind and reason.The sacraments are visible signs of God's grace. They that give us strength to face the trials of life, which are not few, tell the way.

LOVE AS JESUS ​​LOVED !. This is the great Christian challenge of the 21st century !!! Practice charity; share the material and spiritual bread with the "other," is the way to be happy. True happiness is in SHARING !!! We can only be truly happy when we come to share with the other, all our knowledge of God's design, translating into  CONCRETE ATTITUDES all the love of God marked me, when, in Baptism, we received seven (7) Sacraments God and the 12 fruits of the Holy Spirit.

You would be able to give his life for his friends? That is the big question that begs !. The Master Jesus gave it to the point of dying on the cross for all mankind. Redeemed on the cross for our sins Promissory!

                             THERE IS NO GREATER LOVE THAN THIS!
