All Good Tree, Gives Good Fruits(Lk.6,39-45)

                                      GOSPEL SECOND LUCAS, 6, 39-45

"At that time, Jesus told a parable to the disciples:" Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will not they both fall into a hole?
40A disciple is not greater than the master; every well-formed disciple will be like the master.
41 Why do you see the speck in your brother's eye, and do not you see the beam that is in your own eye?

42 How can you say to your brother, "Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye," when you do not perceive the beam in your own eye? Hypocritical! Take the beam out of thine eye first, and then thou shalt see well to take the speck out of thy brother's eye.

43 There is no good tree that bringeth forth evil fruit, neither a bad tree that bringeth forth good fruit.44 Every tree is known by its fruits. No figs of thorns are gathered, nor grapes of thorny plants.
A good man brings good things out of the good treasure of his heart. But the evil man takes away evil things from his evil treasure, for his mouth speaks of the fullness of the heart. " Word of the Lord. Thank God! ( 1 )

A.BIGCUORE'S REFLECTION. Key words of the gospel of today: blind, disciple, Master, tree, fruit, treasure of your heart, etc.

LECTIO DIVINA. READING WORD OF THE WORD. Jesus, as usual, is transmitting to his disciples essential teachings so that they can carry forward his work of Redemption of humanity.
Does it mean to be a disciple? Disciple, in my modest understanding, is one who follows in the footsteps of a Master, his teachings. In the present case, it is a question of following the teachings of the Master of all teachers, Jesus Christ!

He says: "A disciple is not greater than the master; every well-formed disciple will be like the master. " (v. 40). Therefore, we Christians, must IMITATE THE MASTER JESUS, that is, practice what He teaches in his holy Gospels.

It is to imitate the philosophy of the Master. It is evident that we will never be like Jesus, for He, besides human nature, also had the divine nature.
"Every tree is known by its fruits." The mouth speaks of what is full of the heart. If a person is evil (bad tree) he will inevitably produce bad fruit; on the other hand, if the tree is good (good person), it will produce good fruit.

You may notice that when you are angry, your heart full of evil, grudges, resentments, hurts, hatred, your whole body will somatize these emotional toxins which will do us harm to our health.
Our heart must be a heart that seeks to IMITATE THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS. He must be our model. For this, we need to re-educate our mind, to feed good thoughts, because they generate emotions and feelings.

If you, my brother and sister in Christ, have bad thoughts, you will attract into your life, only bad things. People will keep distance from you. In your work, it will contaminate the entire environment. There are work environments or even voluntary activities, where the "climate" is heavy, leaving a certain pessimism in the air. People do not feel well, they even begin to argue for nonsense, and work does not flow smoothly.

Think good things and you will reap good things. As the saying goes, equals attract. Negative attracts negative. Positive attracts positive. It's the Law of Attraction. We attract what we think. Therefore, we train our mind, to always think positively.

When something bad happens. Think: what should I take positive of this negative event ?. You will see that it is always possible to learn something.
Let us not, as Master Jesus says, be blind leading the blind. Let us cultivate the love that will inevitably reap LOVE.

Think about it! May the Lord pour out upon you and all your family, blessings of health, peace and much joy in your heart.
