                               Proclamation of the Gospel (Mt 5,1-12a)
 
At that time, seeing the multitudes, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. The disciples came to, and he began to teach them:"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven!

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you and persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. "

A.BIGCUORE´S  REFLECTION: In my humble opinion, this gospel of the Sermon on the Mount, is the synthesis of God's love for us all. She gives the recipe for happiness: DO JUSTICE FOR ALL OUR ACTIONS!

The world's logic, so the men is very different from God's logic. The logic of the world is POSSESS, has the largest number of possible property; accumulate; have a nice bank account; Travel the world; constantly seek pleasure and social status, etc.

The logic of God, is quite different. Despite being different beings to each other, he who wants to share life; we are always RIGHTEOUS; to love each other like we're blood brothers.God wants, too, we share the goods with the most vulnerable in society; we practice the true Charity, which is the true love !. In other words, God wants us to practice their love, which is characterized, gratuitousness.

God loves us for love, may seem a contradiction in terms, but it is not. The love of God DEMANDS NOTHING IN EXCHANGE. GOD LOVES US BECAUSE WE LOVE !!! because he created us for happiness. But unfortunately, the sin of pride, took care of the first human beings, and therefore, the sufferings came to participate in our lives.

That on Sunday we can think about it and eradicate from our hearts the weeds of pride and let the fruit True Love seed we received in our baptism.May the blessings of Almighty God may dwell in our hearts! Amen, Amen, Amen !!!.
