EASTER AND RECONCILIATION

By
the Bible we find that God will reveal to humanity bit by bit, through the great
prophets until the end by the death of the cross of Jesus and his glorious
resurrection. The Master says, "I am the
way, truth and life. No
one comes to the Father but by Me If you know me, certainly have known my Father
also: from now on you know, have seen through it. "(John, 14, 6
-7)Jesus
was incarnate by the Holy Spirit to fulfill faithfully the determinations of the
Father
Easter,
Reconciliation and appearance at La Salette, France, is all about!. When
the assembly is directed to the Eucharistic table, is an act of humility, of
children reconciled with God. Sin
distances us from God. (Master Jesus says, "Whoever commits sin is a slave of
sin."). The
Eucharist brings us closer. Through it, Christ is
embodied in us.By
way of illustration, the sacraments are perceptible signs of God's grace.
The
baptism and the Eucharist, were born after the Roman soldier, plants the spear
in the breast of Jesus, which flowed water and blood.
The
sacrament of penance or confession, is a remedy that God made us to be
reconciled with Him and the community, for that sin broke the relationship.
God is always
faithful, we are weak!.The
Jewish people celebrated Passover sacrifice a lamb, within their specific
rituals. (See the book of Exodus, 12) We Catholic Christians, we eat our
Passover by the Holy Eucharist that we are given every day at
mass.
Remember
in the New Testament, Jesus the Master's words: "Having earnestly desired to eat
this Passover with you before I suffer. For
I tell you: I will not go to eat it until it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.
Taking
the cup, gave thanks and said: "TAKE THIS CUP AND DISTRIBUTE IT BETWEEN YOU.
For
I tell you: he will not drink the fruit of the vine until the coming of the
Kingdom of God. Then
took the bread and having given thanks, broke it and gave it to them, saying,
"This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of Me."
In
the same way he took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant
in my blood which is shed for you ... (Luke 22, 15-20).Highlights
to note that the old covenant was made with the Jewish patriarchs and prophets.
The New Covenant was instituted
by Jesus. He is the new and eternal
covenant!.
St.
Paul says that without the resurrection of Jesus, our faith would be
vain!The Easter
Triduum is the height of Catholic Christian liturgy. It
is time to reconcile with our brothers, sisters, and especially with God through
the Sacrament of Confession and the Eucharist. Hence
the urgent need to prepare well to receive Holy Communion.
Sublime
moment that God gives us in his infinite goodness and mercy. Says Paul: "Let
yourselves be reconciled to God." The message of La Salette
also comes this pitch. Our Lady tells
us that Sunday is the day of "Easter" weekly. It
is time to receive the Holy Eucharist as an act of humility and love of
neighbor. Giving
and receiving forgiveness are fundamental to celebrate Easter with authenticity
and depth. Let us
reflect for that matter!
"PROOF
OF NO GREATER LOVE, LIFE TO DONATE BY BROTHER," says the Catholic
music.I
leave here, my best wishes for a Holy Easter (without overdoing the food and
drink) with plenty of light, peace and joy in their hearts!
