Jesus tells three parables (short educational stories) to explain to the disciples what the Kingdom of God consists of.

I praise you, O holy Father, God of heaven, Lord of the earth: the mysteries of your kingdom to the little ones, Father, reveal! (Mt 11.25)

“At that time, Jesus said to his disciples, 13 44" The kingdom of heaven is also like a treasure hidden in a field. A man finds it, but hides it again. And, full of joy, go, sell everything have to buy that field.

45 The Kingdom of Heaven is still like a merchant looking for precious pearls.

46 Finding one of great value, go, sell everything you own and buy it.
47 The Kingdom of Heaven is still similar to a net that, thrown into the sea, collects fish of all kinds.

48 When it is full, the fishermen pull it to the beach, sit down and separate what is good in the baskets and throw away what is no good.
49 So it will be at the end of the world: angels will come to separate the wicked from the righteous50 and throw them into the furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

51 Did you understand all this? "" Yes, Lord, "they replied.
52 "For this reason, every scribe educated in the things of the kingdom of heaven is compared to a family man who takes from his treasures new and old things."

A. BIGCUORE´S REFLECTION.These parables remind us of another passage in the Gospel, according to which "we must not throw pearls at pigs", Jesus teaches his disciples.

Our life is a gift from God and, therefore, we must not waste it with worldly things that only the “Enemy” is interested in.
Let us grow the good seed daily so that it produces good fruit; fruits of love, peace, friendship, joy and solidarity.

In the mind of God the Father, his Kingdom was conceived, before the formation of the world. Jesus came on a mission to make him more known to mankind.

We are, through baptism, dedicated to holiness. We must not allow bad inclinations to dominate our hearts and propel us to perdition.
Let us feed on the sap of the Word of God and the Holy Eucharist. These are TRUE TREASURES that lead us to Eternal Life !!!

What is your treasure my brother and sister? Where is he?

As Fr. Francisco Albertin rightly says, “... in our being and living, what is the treasure, that it is worth selling everything and fighting to own it ?. In a nutshell, where is our heart ?. Heart, in the Bible, is in the sense of decision, reason, conviction and choice between good and evil, between the Kingdom of God and the riches of the world ”(cf. Deus Conosco. Editora Santuário, July / 20, page 102).

According to Revista Saúde, in December 2008, (1) orange was considered the top in the ranking of healthy foods.

The study was done by the American nutrologist, Dr. David Katz, from Yale University, in the United States.

The professor took more than a decade of studies to assess, item by item, the substances contained in the selected foods. He scored from 1 to 100 points.

Those that received 100 marks were:

Orange, asparagus, apricot, green beans, blueberry, broccoli, cauliflower, red cabbage, kiwi, mustard leaf.

Others with high points were:

Plum 99 points; sleeve 93 points; pineapple 99 points; carrot 99 points; grapefruit 99 points; banana 91 pts; melon 91 pts; green corn 91 pts; red onion 93 pts; American lettuce 82 pts; cod 82 pts; shrimp 75 pts, salmon 87 pts; etc. etc.

                                        What does the orange contain?

Vitamins C that protects against tumors and mainly increases immunity. In pandemic times this is highly recommended. It also contains Folic Acid, or vitamin B-9, very important for pregnant women, as it helps in the proper formation of the child's brain.

In fact, all the vitamins in COMPLEX B are very important against stress and aging. Relax and feel good. By the way, BEER YEAST is also a wonderful and complete source of the B vitamins.

Minerals: potassium and rich in flavonoids that fight the so-called “free radicals”, which are molecules (organic waste) responsible for the premature aging of cells.

Segundo a Revista Saúde, de dezembro de 2.008,(1)  a laranja foi considerada a top, no ranking dos alimentos saudáveis.

O estudo foi feito pelo nutrólogo americano, Dr.David Katz, da Universidade de Yale, dos Estados Unidos.

O professor levou mais de uma década de estudos para aferir, item por item, das substancias contidas nos alimentos selecionados. Ele deu nota de 1 a 100 pontos.

As que receberam notas 100 foram:

Laranja, aspargo, damasco, vagem, mirtilo, brócolis, couve-flor, repolho roxo, kiwi, folha de mostarda.

Outros com pontos elevados foram:

Ameixa 99 pontos; manga 93 pontos; abacaxi 99 pontos; cenoura 99 pontos; grapefruit 99 pontos; banana 91 pts; melão 91 pts; milho verde 91 pts; cebola roxa 93 pts; alface americana 82 pts; bacalhau 82 pts; camarão 75 pts, salmão 87 pts; etc. etc.

                                        O que contém a laranja?

Vitaminas C:  que protege contra tumores e, principalmente aumenta a imunidade. Em tempos de pandemina isto é muito recomendável. Contém também o Ácido Fólico, ou vitamina B-9, muito importante para as gestantes, pois ajuda na boa formação do cérebro da criança.

Aliás, todas as vitaminas do COMPLEXO B, são importantíssimas contra o estresse e envelhecimento. Relaxam e dão bem estar. A propósito, a LEVEDURA DE CERVEJA é também uma fonte maravilhosa e completa das vitaminas do complexo B.

Minerais: potássio e rica em flavonóides que combatem os chamados “radicais livres”, que são moléculas (lixo orgânico) responsáveis pelo envelhecimento precoce das células.

“I praise you, O holy Father, God of heaven, Lord of the earth; reveal the mysteries of your kingdom to the little ones, Father! ” (Mt 11.25)

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew.
At that time, Jesus spoke these words: 11 25 “I bless you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to the little ones. 26 Yes, Father, I bless you, because that was your pleasure.

27All things were given to me by my Father; no one knows the Son, except the Father, and no one knows the Father, except the Son and the one to whom the Son wants to reveal him.

A. BIGCUORE`S REFLECTION. The Jews expected a pompous King, who would dwell in the golden palaces with all pomp and circumstances.
And what the first reading of the Prophet Zechariah tells us ... 9 “Rejoice with joy, daughter of Zion, cry out with joy, daughter of Jerusalem; behold, your righteous and victorious king comes to you; it is simple and comes on a donkey, on a donkey's colt. ” "... He will proclaim peace among the nations" (idem).

And how did Jesus come? He was born in an inn between oxen and horses!
For Jews, that was UNIMAGINABLE !. Jesus is simple!
The law at the time of Jesus, “had 365 prohibitions and 248 commandments, for a total of 613 precepts. It is easy to deduce that those people are tired and tired ”. ( 2 )

In today's Gospel, Jesus addresses Heavenly Father in praise that He has revealed the truths of the Kingdom of God to his disciples (especially the Apostles), whom He calls “little ones”.
"Come to Me, you who are weary, tired and I will relieve you, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

The people were tired of being exploited and having to carry on their shoulders the set of 613 precepts of Jewish Law.
Jesus is meek and humble in heart. Let us learn from Him to be more tolerant of our neighbor; to FORGIVE the offenses they do to us. Let us learn to be more understanding of the shortcomings of our walking brothers and sisters.

GOD IS LOVE, as St. John the Evangelist says. "Whoever remains in God remains in Love and God remains in him".

The text also reveals JESUS ​​'INFINITE MERCY! As the Prophet Amos says, "I want mercy and not animal sacrifice".

My brothers and sisters in Christ, humanity is experiencing moments of many sorrows, anguishes and anxieties. Therefore, we dock the boat of our lives, in the safe haven of the SACRED HEART OF JESUS ​​!. He never lets us down. He is truly the Son of God who came for "his", but his did NOT receive him. They loved darkness more than light, as John says in his Gospel.

We unburden our hearts before the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, the Heart of Jesus. He is meek and humble in heart; He loves us infinitely and wants the best for us. Let us repent of our sins and make the final decision to love Him ever more and more and remain FAITHFUL TO HIM, until the end of the centuries! Trust, everything will pass!

“Eu te louvo, ó Pai santo, Deus do céu, Senhor da terra; os mistérios do teu reino aos pequenos, Pai, revelas!” (Mt 11,25)

Proclamação do Evangelho de Jesus Cristo segundo Mateus.
Por aquele tempo, Jesus pronunciou estas palavras: 11 ²⁵ “Eu te bendigo, Pai, Senhor do céu e da terra, porque escondeste estas coisas aos sábios e entendidos e as revelaste aos pequenos. ²⁶ Sim, Pai, eu te bendigo, porque assim foi do teu agrado. 

27Todas as coisas me foram dadas por meu Pai; ninguém conhece o Filho, senão o Pai, e ninguém conhece o Pai, senão o Filho e aquele a quem o Filho quiser revelá-lo. 

²⁸ Vinde a mim, vós todos que estais aflitos sob o fardo, e eu vos aliviarei. 

²⁹ Tomai meu jugo sobre vós e recebei minha doutrina, porque eu sou manso e humilde de coração e achareis o repouso para as vossas almas. ³⁰ Porque meu jugo é suave e meu peso é leve.

REFLEXÃO A. BIGCUORE. Os judeus esperavam um Rei pomposo, que habitasse nos palácios todos de ouro com toda pompa e circunstâncias.

E o que nos diz a primeira leitura do Profeta Zacarias... ⁹ “Exulta de alegria, filha de Sião, solta gritos de júbilo, filha de Jerusalém; eis que vem a ti o teu rei, justo e vitorioso; ele é simples e vem montado num jumento, no potro de uma jumenta.” “...Ele proclamará a paz entre as nações”.(idem).

E como veio Jesus? Nasceu numa hospedaria entre bois e cavalos!

Para os judeus, isso era INIMAGINÁVEL!. Jesus é simples!

A lei na época de Jesus, “tinha 365 proibições e 248 mandamentos, num total de 613 preceitos. É fácil deduzir que aquele povo está cansado e fatigado”. ( 2 )

No Evangelho de hoje, Jesus se dirige ao Pai Celestial em louvor por Ele ter revelado as verdades do Reino de Deus, a seus discípulos (sobretudo os Apóstolos), que Ele chama de “pequeninos”.

“Vinde a Mim, vós que estais fatigados, cansados e Eu os aliviarei, pois o meu jugo é suave e o meu fardo é leve.”

O povo estava cansado de ser explorado e ter de levar nas costas o conjunto de 613 preceitos da Lei judaica.

Jesus é manso e humilde de coração. Aprendamos com Ele a sermos mais tolerantes com o nosso próximo; a PERDOAR as ofensas que nos fazem. Aprendamos a ser mais compreensivos com os defeitos de nossos irmãos e irmãs de caminhada.

DEUS É AMOR, como diz S. João Evangelista. “Quem permanece em Deus, permanece no Amor e Deus permanece nele”.

O texto também revela a INFINITA MISERICÓRDIA DE JESUS! Como diz o Profeta Amós, “eu quero a misericórdia e não o sacrifício de animais”.

Meus irmãos e minhas irmãs em Cristo, a humanidade vive momentos de muitas tristezas, angústias e ansiedades. 

Porisso, atracamos o barco de nossas vidas, no porto seguro do SAGRADO CORAÇÃO DE JESUS!. Ele nunca nos decepciona. Ele é verdadeiramente o Filho de Deus que veio para os “seus”, mas os seus NÃO o receberam. Amaram mais as trevas do que a luz, como diz João em seu Evangelho.

Desafogamos os nossos corações diante do Santíssimo Sacramento do Altar, do Coração de Jesus. Ele é manso e humilde de coração; Ele nos ama infinitamente e quer o melhor para nós. Arrependamos de nossos pecados e tomemos a definitiva decisão de amá-Lo sempre mais e mais e permanecer FIEL A ELE, até a consumação dos séculos! Confie, tudo vai passar!

Que desça sobre você, a sua família, parentes e amigos, pela intercessão de Nossa Senhora da Salete e Santa Faustina, a bênção do Deus, rico em misericórdia, Ele que é +Pai, + Filho e +Espírito Santo, amém!.

Um feliz e santo domingo a todos e a todas!. Graça e Paz em seus corações!
