 - The Lord be with you.- He is with us.- Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John +.- Glory to you, Lord.

At that time Jesus said to Nicodemus: 14 "Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that everyone who 15para believe in him shall have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that he die not everyone who believes in him, but have everlasting life.

17De fact, God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world might be saved through him.18Quem believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he did not believe in the name of the only begotten Son.19Ora, this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, but men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.20Quem doeth evil hateth the light, neither comes to the light, so that their actions are not reported. 21But, who acts as the truth, approaches the light, to manifest that his actions are carried out in God.

A. BIGCUORE´S REFLECTION: Scenario: Jesus is in dialogue with Nicodemus predicting its cruficação and death. Jesus reminds Article 21 of the Book of Numbers in the Old Testament, when the people rebelled against Moses and God commands you (people) snakes to chop them. The people, given this situation, asks Moses to intercede with God, ending that suffering.

Verse 7: "Moses prayed for the people, and Yahweh said to him," Make a snake and put it on a rod. Everyone who is bitten and contemplate live. " (Jerusalem Bible, pg 248 -. Paulus publisher)

LECTIO DIVINA:  Who believe in Jeus, is saved. He that believeth not is condemned already, tells the Evangelist John. He is the Light that came to this world, but men loved darkness rather than light.My brothers and my sisters in Christ, Jesus is full transparency is clarity. Him is no darkness and who shares with him walking in the Light, and the devil hates the light.

The citation of Jesus in the Book of Numbers 21, is the prefiguration of his death on the Cross. Therefore, we Christians must always LOOK UP, to HIGH, because that's where we have our salvation !.

Detail: those who criticize Catholics saying they are idolaters, pictures worshipers, this passage from the Book of Numbers is clear that the Lord Himself God, command that the prophet Moses, build a metal rod, symbolizing the future Cross of Jesus.

Another: Religion preaches that the Theology of Prosperity, is not religion but business. There is no heaven, WITHOUT CROSS! None resurrection without Cruz !. Therefore, my brothers, we can infer that the text CENTRAL IDEA that Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, gives the example of infinite love and misericóridia to their children (mankind) through successful experience of the cross, as paradoxical as it may opinion !. Amen!

May the grace and peace of our good God, to enlighten our mind and heart to not fall into the snares of the evil !.
