MEN WANT THE POWER. GOD'S MERCY

Our discussion today, is in the Gospel of St. Matthew, chapter 20, verses 17-28:

"At that time, 17enquanto he went up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and during the walk, said to them: 18" Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and teachers of the Law .
 They will condemn him to death, 19e and deliver to the Gentiles to mock him, and scourged him and crucify him. But on the third day rise again. "

20A mother of Zebedee's sons came to Jesus with her sons and knelt down with the intention of making a request. 21Jesus asked, "What do you want?" She said, "Command that these my two sons may sit, in your kingdom, one at your right and one on your left."
 22Jesus therefore answered them: "Do not know what you are asking. Did you able to drink the cup that I drink? "They said," We ". 23Então Jesus said to them: "Indeed ye shall drink my cup, but not for me to grant a place at my right or my left. My Father who will give these places to those for which he has prepared. "

24Quando the other ten disciples heard this they were angry against the two brothers. 25Jesus, however, called them and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them and oppress them great.
 26Entre you should not be so. Whoever wants to become great, become your servant; 27quem wants to be first must be your servant. 28Pois, the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve and give His life a ransom for many. "

 A.BigCuore´s Opinion: my brothers and sisters in Christ in this Gospel refers to the idea of ​​power. The disciples did not understand anything of what Jesus spoke. He said his passion and death, and the disciples were "fighting" each other to see who would get the "seam" that would result in "material power" of Jesus, and they, being his friends would enjoy.
A woman thinking in the power of Jesus and its bounty, was soon asking the Master to get a "bite" to his two sons.

In light of today, the same thing happens saved due proportions. The man from Adam and Eve, always lock their struggle for power. Power means status, money, sex, pleasure, etc.etc.
Even within the church in pastoral, we notice many people interested in only "appear", but works in secret to do that so few act.

The Master spoke of the power of love and mercy. Feeling the pain of the "other" as their own. Suffer with him, help him to carry his burden.
I came to SERVE and not be served, wisely says the Master Jesus!
We must learn to praise the pain, suffering. When we put our suffering in the dimension that Jesus put it, we too find strength to overcome our fears and our existential problems. We always say that the Christian is one who does not flee from pain and suffering, he would face, but differently in the world, people who are not of God but of the material world only.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and always timely intercession of his Blessed Mother, I beg you Lord God, to enlighten our minds and hearts, giving us the deliverance and healing of our infirmities, both physical mental, spiritual and emotional. And we can have COMPASSION of the weakest and helpless, helping them to alleviate their sufferings. May we be united, fraternal, doing works of mercy materials, namely, giving food to the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, clothing the naked, giving welcome to the homeless, visiting the sick and imprisoned.
Father touch the most hardened hearts of political elites, dominant in our country in order to implement public policies that are fair, consistent with the needs of our long-suffering people of Brazil.
All this we ask, O Heavenly Father, in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh who died for us in the holy cross, and always timely intercession of his beloved Mother, Mary of Nazareth! Amen, amen, amen!

OS HOMENS QUEREM O PODER. DEUS A MISERICÓRDIA

Nossa reflexão de hoje, está no Evangelho de São Mateus, capitulo 20, versículos de 17 a 28:

“Naquele tempo, ¹⁷enquanto Jesus subia para Jerusalém, ele tomou os doze discípulos à parte e, durante a caminhada, disse-lhes: ¹⁸“Eis que estamos subindo para Jerusalém, e o Filho do Homem será entregue aos sumos sacerdotes e aos mestres da Lei.

 Eles o condenarão à morte, ¹⁹e o entregarão aos pagãos para zombarem dele, para flagelá-lo e crucificá-lo. Mas no terceiro dia ressuscitará”.

²⁰A mãe dos filhos de Zebedeu aproximou-se de Jesus com seus filhos e ajoelhou-se com a intenção de fazer um pedido. ²¹Jesus perguntou: “Que queres?” Ela respondeu: “Manda que estes meus dois filhos se sentem, no teu Reino, um à tua direita e outro à tua esquerda”.

 ²²Jesus, então, respondeu-lhes: “Não sabeis o que estais pedindo. Por acaso podeis beber o cálice que eu vou beber?” Eles responderam: “Podemos”. ²³Então Jesus lhes disse: “De fato, vós bebereis do meu cálice, mas não depende de mim conceder o lugar à minha direita ou à minha esquerda. Meu Pai é quem dará esses lugares àqueles para os quais ele os preparou”.

²⁴Quando os outros dez discípulos ouviram isso, ficaram irritados contra os dois irmãos. ²⁵Jesus, porém, chamou-os, e disse: “Vós sabeis que os chefes das nações têm poder sobre elas e os grandes as oprimem.

 ²⁶Entre vós não deverá ser assim. Quem quiser tornar-se grande, torne-se vosso servidor; ²⁷quem quiser ser o primeiro, seja vosso servo. ²⁸Pois, o Filho do Homem não veio para ser servido, mas para servir e dar a sua vida como resgate em favor de muitos”.

Reflexão de A.BigCuore: meus irmãos e minhas irmãs em Cristo, o presente Evangelho nos remete a idéia de poder. Os discípulos não haviam entendido nada do que Jesus falava. Ele dizia de sua paixão e morte, e os discípulos estavam “brigando” entre si, para ver para quem iria ficar o “filão” que resultaria do “poder material” de Jesus e, eles, sendo seus amigos iriam usufruir.

A mulher pensando no poder de Jesus e em suas benesses, foi logo indagando do Mestre para arrumar uma “boquinha” para os seus dois filhos.

À luz dos dias de hoje, acontece a mesma coisa guardado as devidas proporções. O homem desde Adão e Eva, a sua luta sempre foi pelo poder. Poder significa status, dinheiro, sexo, prazeres etc.etc.

Mesmo dentro da igreja, nas pastorais, a gente percebe muitas pessoas interessadas apenas em “aparecer”, mas fazer obras em segredo são poucos que assim agem.

O Mestre falava do poder do amor e da misericórdia!. Sentir as dores do “outro” como sendo as suas. Sofrer com ele; ajudá-lo a carregar o seu fardo.

Eu vim para SERVIR e não ser servido, diz sabiamente o Mestre Jesus!

Devemos aprender a louvar na dor, no sofrimento. Quando colocamos o nosso sofrimento na dimensão de que Jesus colocou, também nós encontraremos forças, para superar as nossas angustias existenciais e nossos problemas. Sempre dizemos que o cristão é aquele que não foge da dor e do sofrimento, ele as encara, porém, de maneira diferente do mundo, das pessoas que não são de Deus, mas do mundo material, apenas.

Oração: Pai Celestial, em nome de seu Filho Jesus Cristo e pela intercessão sempre oportuna de sua Mãe Santíssima, eu lhe peço Senhor Deus, para iluminar as nossas mentes e corações, dando-nos a libertação e cura de nossas enfermidades, tanto físicas, mentais, espirituais e emocionais; e que possamos ter COMPAIXÃO dos mais fracos e desvalidos, ajudando-os a minorar os seus sofrimentos. Que sejamos solidários, fraternos, praticando obras materiais de misericórdia, quais sejam, dando de comer a quem tem fome; dando de beber a quem tem sede; vestindo os nus; dando acolhida para os desabrigados; visitando os doentes e encarcerados.

Pai, toque os corações mais endurecidos das elites políticas, dominantes em nosso País, a fim de que implementem políticas públicas justas, compatíveis com as necessidades de nosso tão sofrido povo brasileiro.

Tudo isto lhe pedimos, oh Pai Celestial, em nome de seu Filho Jesus Cristo, o Verbo Encarnado que morreu por nós na santa cruz, e pela sempre oportuna intercessão de sua Mãe querida, Maria Santíssima de Nazaré! Amém, amem, amém!

FORGIVENESS AND MERCYAntoni BigCuore *In Catholic liturgy today, 05/03/2012, second Monday, the texts for our discussion, below are described.The Gospel of Luke, 6, 36-38:At that time Jesus said to his disciples:36 "Be merciful as your Father is merciful. 37Not judge and will not be judged: condemn not and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven. 38Give and you shall receive. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, overflowing will be placed in your lap, because with the same measure that measure others, you also will measured. "

Psalm 78 we read:
The Lord does not treat us as our sins require.- The Lord does not treat us as our sins require.- Do not remember our sins of the past, but comes right over us Your goodness, because we are humiliated in the extreme.
 - Help us, our God and Savior! For your name and your glory, deliver us! On your behalf, forgive our sins!- Until you reach the groaning of the captives: Libertad with your mighty arm those who were condemned to die!- As for us, your sheep and your people celebrate thy name for ever, from generation to generation shall praise you.

A.BigCuore´s  Reflection: The term from Latin = poor miser, cor = heart. Heart of the poor. Jesus reminds us that we must be poor of heart which does not mean anything to do with wealth, as humans think. Have a heart similar to Him. It is a compassionate heart, ie, entering the bar of the "other", absorbing to itself the suffering of others, as well seu.Ser solidarity, feeling empathy for the "other". This is mercy, compassion is!. He compares himself to his Father "Be merciful as my Father is merciful."FORGIVE AND SHALL BE FORGIVEN! This is the great commandment of love of God! Forgiveness is sublime! Own a humble spirit, compassion who lives in constant TUNE with the heart of God.And what we see in the world? Much hatred, rancor, resentment, they are true acids that eat people's hearts and they often do not realize it!"To err is human, to forgive is divine" (EA Poe), says the American poet.To forgive is divine it. If the person does not put on a divine dimension, not find the strength to truly forgive. Not lip service, this is easy.FORGIVE WITH ALL HEART! Na liturgia católica de hoje, 05.03.2012, 2ª feira, os textos para a nossa reflexão, seguem abaixo descritos.

O Evangelho de Lucas, 6, 36-38:

Naquele tempo, disse Jesus aos seus discípulos:
³⁶“Sede misericordiosos, como também o vosso Pai é misericordioso. ³⁷Não julgueis e não sereis julgados; não condeneis e não sereis condenados; perdoai, e sereis perdoados. ³⁸Dai e vos será dado. Uma boa medida, calcada, sacudida, transbordante será colocada no vosso colo; porque com a mesma medida com que medirdes os outros, vós também sereis medidos”.

Salmo 78, lemos:

O Senhor não nos trata como exigem nossas faltas.
— O Senhor não nos trata como exigem nossas faltas.

— Não lembreis as nossas culpas do passado, mas venha logo sobre nós vossa bondade, pois estamos humilhados em extremo.

— Ajudai-nos, nosso Deus e Salvador! Por vosso nome e vossa glória, libertai-nos! Por vosso nome, perdoai nossos pecados!

— Até vós chegue o gemido dos cativos: libertai com vosso braço poderoso os que foram condenados a morrer!

— Quanto a nós, vosso rebanho e vosso povo, celebraremos vosso nome para sempre, de geração em geração vos louvaremos.

Reflexão de A.BigCuore: O termo miser = pobre, cordas = coração. Coração de pobre. Jesus nos lembra que temos de ter coração de pobre o que não significa nada com riquezas, como julgam os humanos. Ter um coração semelhante ao Dele. É um coração compassivo, ou seja, que entra no compasso do “outro”, absorvendo para si o sofrimento do outro, como sendo também seu.Ser solidário, sentir a empatia pelo “outro”. Isto é misericórdia, é compaixão!. Ele se compara com seu Pai. “Sede misericordiosos como meu Pai é misericordioso.”

PERDOAI E SEREIS PERDOADOS! Este é o grande mandamento do amor de Deus! O perdão é sublime! Próprio de um espírito humilde, compassivo que vive em SINTONIA constante com o coração de Deus!.

E o que vemos no mundo? Muito ódio, rancor, ressentimentos, que são verdadeiros ácidos que corroem o coração das pessoas e muitas vezes, elas não se dão conta disto!

“Errar é humano, perdoar é divino”, (E.A. Poe), diz o poeta americano.

Perdoar é divino mesmo. Se a pessoa não se colocar numa dimensão divina, não encontrará as forças necessárias para perdoar verdadeiramente. Não de boca para fora, isto é fácil.

PERDOAR COM TODO O CORAÇÃO! EIS O CAMINHO PARA SER FELIZ!

À guisa de ilustração, faço minhas as palavras do Pe. Bantu Mendonça da Canção Nova:

“No imenso tesouro do Evangelho, a misericórdia é como uma gema preciosa,  sólida e delicada ao mesmo tempo, verdadeira e transparente na sua simplicidade, brilhante pela vida e alegria que difunde. Compaixão, solidariedade, ternura e perdão são como seus ângulos de polimento, por onde reflete – em raios coloridos e acessíveis – o amor regenerador de Deus.” (site cn. 05.03.12)

TO ENJOY TO THE SWEETNESS OF LOVE, BEFORE, YOU NEED, THE FEELING OF BITTERNESS OF TRIBULATIONS.


In a utilitarian society (and consumption) in which we live, a "product" of inestimable value can not be bought anywhere, because it simply is not for sale: Friend: special person!

In the consumer society the value of a person is in direct proportion to their purchasing power. This is the mentality of the world!

God's criteria are very different!. God sees the heart of man, his capacity for love!

The special friend is always by his side, even though the distance is long. In thought, in prayer, he is always in perfect harmony with the person he loves.

Especially in financial difficulties, unemployment, hours of the loss of a loved one, sickness etc.., He is always at his side, giving him strength, giving him their solidarity.

Friend of the table we have enough, (as the Bible says), but true friends are rare jewels and if you found them, treat them with great care and consideration. Bring them always in his left chest.

So says the Book of Ecclesiastes, chapter 6, verses 7, 8: "If you want a friend, put it to the test, and not just trust him go. Because there is a friend of opportunity, which will be true when you are the worst. " (1)

Morally and physically he is always present in every moment of your life!

In the book of Proverbs, chapter 11, 24-25, we read: "One man gives freely, their wealth increases even more, and there are those who unjustly accumulates and leads to poverty. Whoever is generous progresses in life, and who gives drink will never thirst. " (2)

A true friend gives love, peace, joy, gives words of encouragement to his neighbor, sharing their joys and sorrows with the "other" is always supportive! He is generous in every way!

ALL what we sow, SINCE DONE WITH GENEROSITY AND WITHOUT expecting anything in return, BACK TO OURSELVES, multiplied abundantly!.

Special people do not buy if win!

PESSOAS ESPECIAIS NÃO SE COMPRAM

“PARA USUFRUIRMOS A DOÇURA DO AMOR, ANTES, É PRECISO, SENTIR O ARMAGO DAS TRIBULAÇÕES”.(a.bigcuore)

Numa sociedade utilitarista (e de consumo) em que vivemos, um “produto” de valor inestimável não se compra em lugar algum, porque simplesmente ele não está à venda: amigo: pessoa especial!!!

Na sociedade de consumo o valor de uma pessoa está na proporção direta de seu poder aquisitivo. Esta é a mentalidade do mundo!

Os critérios de Deus, são bem diferentes!. Deus vê o coração do ser humano, a sua CAPACIDADE DE AMAR!!!

O amigo especial está sempre a seu lado, mesmo que à distância seja longa. Em pensamento, em oração, ele está sempre em SINTONIA PERFEITA com a pessoa que ele ama.

Sobretudo, nas dificuldades financeiras, no desemprego, na hora da perda de um ente querido, na doença etc., ele está sempre a seu lado, lhe dando força, lhe prestando a sua solidariedade.

Amigo de mesa temos bastante, (como diz a Bíblia) mas amigos verdadeiros são jóias raras e se você as encontrou, trate-as com muito carinho e consideração. Traga-as sempre no seu lado esquerdo do peito.

Assim reza o Livro do Eclesiástico, capítulo 6, versículos 7, 8: “Se você quiser um amigo, coloque-o à prova, e não vá logo confiando nele. Porque existe amigo de ocasião, que não será fiel quando você estiver na pior”. ( 1 )

Moral e fisicamente ele está sempre presente em todos os momentos de sua vida!!!

No livro dos Provérbios, capitulo 11, 24-25, lemos:”Há quem dá generosamente, e sua riqueza aumenta ainda mais; e há quem acumula injustamente, e acaba na miséria. Quem é generoso progride na vida, e quem dá de beber jamais passará sede”. ( 2 )

O verdadeiro amigo dá amor, dá paz, dá alegria, dá palavras de ânimo a seu próximo;  partilha as suas alegrias e tristezas com o “outro”, é solidário sempre! É generoso, em todos os sentidos!

TUDO O QUE SEMEAMOS, DESDE QUE FEITO COM GENEROSIDADE E SEM ESPERAR NADA EM TROCA, VOLTA PARA NÓS MESMOS, MULTIPLICADOS ABUNDANTEMENTE!.

Pessoas especiais não se compram, se conquistam!!!

Lent, Forgiveness, Reconciliation And Conversion

LENT, FORGIVENESS, RECONCILIATION AND CONVERSION

Jesus, the Master of all masters, "The Best of the Best", when asked by Peter, his chief disciple, how many times he should forgive seven times seven, the Master replied: "I do not say up to seven times, but seventy times seven. "

Seven for the Jews is a perfect and infinite number! Imagine you, the reader (a), seventy times seven (not four hundred and ninety, we think in Portuguese). It was an infinite number!
This judgment of the mouth of the Master of all masters, Jesus!
You reader must be thinking ... but this is very difficult, especially in the days today.

But this is really a challenge! But, alas, lies the merit for the forgiver. Winning the gold medal in the championship of the spiritual life!.
FORGIVE YOU NEED! Above all, as a matter of intelligence. For it is scientifically proven that anger, hatred, unforgiveness, are behind hundreds of psycho-somatic.

FORGIVE IS PROFIT HEALTH!. Forgive my brother and sister, as many times as necessary, but forgive from the heart and not lip service!.
In doing so, you will be accumulating dividends on your savings portentous sky.

The more you forgive, you become more free!. Inner freedom, the feeling that there is more delicious to the inner dynamics (din - in) a person. All this has a name EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND SPIRITUAL, the Master of all masters, JESUS, we proclaim in their Gospels.

Says, with much wisdom in the Book of Ecclesiasticus, article 28, verses 1-5: Who takes vengeance will suffer vengeance of the Lord, that severely will ask an account of their sins. ".
"Forgive the injustice that his neighbor committed and when you ask, God will also forgive the sins you have committed. If a man holds a grudge against another, how can you ask God to heal? If there has mercy toward your neighbor, how dare you ask forgiveness for their sins? If he is flesh, hold grudges, who will forgive your sins? ".
Wise words from the Bible!. No need to add anything else!.

Today, the Catholic liturgical calendar, Lent begins, a special time of conversion, forgiveness, fasting, reconciliation and joy as well. There is a time, as the ancients said, with sadness, scowling, bad mood. It is with joy but without losing his sense of real life change. Leaving a life of addiction to a life of virtue!

 It is a time to think about our relationship with God, with others and with nature. This year, the Campaign of Fraternity takes us back to thinking about health in Brazil. A theme and relevant to the liturgical season of Lent.

I suggest some practical things we can do to please God. Fasting of "gossip", cigarettes, coffee, chocolate, soap operas, television, mobile phones, the internet (even for one day per week), drink, finally, knowingly WAIVE the one thing we love and offer this Sacrifice to God in reparation for sins committed by mankind to His Sacred Heart, is an act of love, faith, reconciliation!

I remembered now the Prophet Isaiah, in capítulo58, verses 6-8, says: "Fasting What I want is this: to end the unjust arrests, turn off the chains of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke, sharing the food with the hungry, stay in your house the poor, homeless, clothe those who find themselves naked ENAO close to his own people. If you do, your light will shine as sunrise, your wounds will heal quickly, the justice that you will practice in front of the glory of Yahweh will come following you. " (1) 

The prophet said this more or less in the years 740-734, during the reign of Jotham, and even today, we Christians have not been able to put all this into practice in everyday of our lives.

As noted, it is a text and conducive to reflect during this Lent, which began in the last 4 Friday, day 22/02/2012.
St. Paul the Apostle tells us that "charity is the bond of perfection." Without love, my brothers and sisters in Christ, not enough to Eternity!.

So long the Prophet said these wonderful words that Jesus came to ratify by their passage through this land, brilliantly. But human hearts seem far from God. They want to be happy alone, by their own forces. Pure mistake!. Without God and charity, there is no true happiness.

The true fast is this and said that the Prophet Isaiah!.
Reflect, for in it, and try to put them into practice!
May the blessings of Almighty God, descend upon you, upon your family, about your business in profusion, He who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen!
