"At that time, Jesus had entered Jericho and was passing through the city. 2Havia was a man named Zacchaeus, who was chief of the tax collectors and very rich.

3Zaqueu sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, it was very low. 4Then he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree to see Jesus, who was to pass that way. 5When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said, "Zacchaeus, come down quickly! Today I must stay at your house. "

6Ele came down quickly and received him joyfully.7Ao see this, everyone began to murmur, saying: "He was staying at the house of a sinner"8Zaqueu stood, and said to the Lord: "Lord, I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone, I will give back four times more."9Jesus told him, "Today salvation has come to this house because this man too is a son of Abraham. 10Com effect, the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost. A. BIGCUORE´S REFLECTION.. The Evangelist Luke reports on Sunday today, a character named Zacchaeus, who was a tax collector. For the Jews, it was an evil person view, for stealing his compatriots to give the Romans in the form of taxes.

As Zacchaeus was short in stature, he climbed the tree to SEE JESUS!The Master, always very attentive and detail-oriented, had the knowing and the call to come down the tree because he wanted to stay in your home."Come down quickly, Zacchaeus, for today need to stay in your home," says the Master Jesus literally.
