Christmas, maximum date of Christianity !. The rebirth of the Child God who redeems us and frees us from all our sins. Special time to be reconciled with the brothers, giving them our forgiveness and also being forgiven.
By the way of forgiveness, I will give you my testimony.
For those who do not know, I sing in an Italian Choir and once, in a presentation, we had the absence of our conductor. So we need to rehearse double to play a good role before the audience.
As there was a lot of indiscipline in the group, I decided to take charge on my own, and try to put order "in the house". And, to sum up, the story, I ended up falling out with our keyboard player.
I was already hot-headed that day and ended up exalting and offending her.
A half hour later, I went to her and apologized and she did not accept them. From that day on we never spoke again.
One Saturday, we had Pizza Night at our Italian Club, and at one point it went out. There was a pressure drop. (She is diabetic and has to eat every 3 hours and did not). I, of course, by her side helped her, even shaking her, since the weather was a little muffled.
Last Thursday, after our rehearsal, we had our traditional choir party.
Well, in the end, when we said goodbye, she came to thank me for helping her.
I suppose she took the opportunity to reconcile with me, since she had not accepted my excuses as a result of our disagreement.
I was also very relieved, since she was the only person I didn't talk to at the Coral. I am friends with everyone and always had this thorn in my shoe.
It was really the hand of God, and of Our Lady of Salete, Reconciler of sinners, that gave me this moment of reconciliation!
It is imperative for our happiness, as it says in the Gospels, to always forgive as the Master Jesus taught us.
In Matthew 18: 21 we read: “Then Peter came to him and asked him,“ Lord, how often shall I forgive my brother who sins against me? Up to seven times? ”22 Jesus answered him,“ I tell you not until seven, but up to seventy-seven times. ”(1). By way of information, we recall that the number seven for Jews means perfection, completeness.
Jesus gives us the example on the cross when He says to the Father, “Forgive them, they do not know what they are doing!” (2).
Forgiveness, first of all, is a matter of intelligence, as it represents massage to the heart !. It even improves our immune system. The PINEAL gland releases the so-called endorphins, serotonin; the so-called hormones of well-being and relaxation, even when we pray the rosary, said gland is stimulated to release those hormones. There are even scientific studies proving this claim.
Forgiving, therefore, is always PROFIT in the health of the body, the spirit, and the soul!
Let us reflect on this in these moments before Christmas! It is the supreme moment to forgive and receive forgiveness. Do not die with this weight in your heart !.
By the way, the word forgiveness in the Greek comes from "aphesis," which means to throw away; detach from; release, that is, throw away the bag of stones that the person who does not forgive, carries on his back and, above all, in the emotional system. Forgiveness, above all, is a matter of emotional intelligence !.
If you have a hard time forgiving, ask God to grant you this grace of forgiving. You will feel an inner release never felt in your whole life!
My brother and sister in Christ, STOP LOADING this heavy burden of hurt, anger, resentment, hatred, as these emotional toxins will cause a range of diseases in your physical body, even CANCER !!!
Neuroscientists are tired of saying the importance of forgiveness, regardless of religion !!! Forgiveness FREE !!!. It soothes our soul, heart and our body as a whole. Forgiving is 100% PROFIT in total health. Think about it this Christmas and reconcile with the person who hurt you. Do not accumulate this EMOTIONAL TRASH in your heart!
Try it and you will feel wonderful!
