                                    GOSPEL SECOND LUCAS, 4, 12-23


"The people lived in darkness, they saw a great light, and a light shone unto them that were in the dark place of death" (verse 16). ( 1 )

Jesus, after John's arrest, feels it is his time to roll up his sleeves and go to evangelization. It begins with the region of Galilee.
Be converted, for the kingdom of God is at hand. "(V.17)

Later, the Master sees Simon Peter and his brother Andrew, and makes the invitation. Accompany yourselves and I will make you FISHERMEN OF MEN!
The preaching of the Master contains the same RADICALITY of Jao Batista: he proclaims TOTAL CHANGE OF LIFE! Be converted therefore the Kingdom of God is near.


LECTIO DIVINA;

In the present day, do we Christians have the same hope as the disciples of the Master?

Is it in the world today that the darkness is stronger than the light of Christ?

What do we do to turn the darkness of lies, sin, corruption, into an opportunity for TRANSFORMATION for a better world?
